Matthew is a creative and empathetic founder, communicator, and leader of organizations & teams with a focus on forging cross-sector partnerships and community using technology and digital society as a tool for improving the planet and people’s lives. He has cofounded, launched, and managed 3 social ventures while building cross-sector partnerships, community-wide initiatives, and envisioning ahead of the curve this moment where digital equity has taken center stage in the U.S. and world.

In 2021, he was appointed by Chairwoman Jessica Rosenworcel to the Federal Communication Commission's Council on Equity Diversity and Inclusion (CEDC), where he led the Digital Equity/Upskilling workstream. As a noted communicator across all forms of media, his specialty is corporate communications, from content creation, to communications strategy and program management. From 2-4 MT Wednesdays, he hosts Mateo's Magic Bus on KFFR 88.3-FM in Winter Park, CO (www.MateosMagicBus.com). As a published author, Matthew co-wrote/edited The Nonprofit Guide to Going Green & has had articles featured in many publications including the Wash. As an experienced social impact leader, innovator, and entrepreneur passionate about sustainability, STEAM, and social equity, Amy specializes in building and scaling social impact initiatives and organizations designed to create a more sustainable, equitable, and vibrant world. She is dedicated to finding the intersection of global needs, innovation, and business as a driver for change with a track record of bringing people, organizations and communities together to build a better world.

Gary Montague, Principal

As a Chief Executive Officer in the medical device industry, Gary brings a range of skills including intelligence analysis, sales, emergency medicine, intensive care, and advanced cardiac life support (ACLS). With a Master of Science (M.S.) focused in Medicine from Saint Francis University, He am passionate about improving access to life-saving technologies.

 

Gary is dedicated to making Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) financially affordable and accessible for every family, believing that no one person has value over another. His ultimate goal is to help families save lives and promote cardiac safety and education in the community. A gift of just one more birthday is priceless, and I am committed to making that gift possible for families everywhere.

Riley Temple, Strategic Advisor

Riley Temple is a principal in the Washington, D.C. strategic consulting firm, Temple Strategies. Riley has extensive experience in federal legislative, policy and regulatory matters. He served as Assistant General Counsel at the Corporation for Public Broadcasting from 1974 to 1977, and from 1977 to 1978 as Legislative Assistant to U.S. Senator Charles McC. Mathias (R-MD).

Riley is a co-founder of the True Colors Theatre Company, a national black theater company based in Atlanta, GA.  He endowed the David L. Temple, Sr. and Helen J. Temple Scholarship for Study Abroad and Visiting Lecture Series in Africana Studies at Lafayette College in Easton, PA.  He is a member of the Community and Friends Board of the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, a board member of the Foundation for the National Archives and a member of the Protestant Episcopal Cathedral Foundation.

Riley received his JD degree from Georgetown University in 1974 and his AB degree from Lafayette College in 1971, which also awarded him an honorary Doctor of Laws degree in 2009. The Cultural Alliance of Greater Washington granted Riley its Individual Arts Patron Award in 2003.  He is the author of Aunt Ester's Children Redeemed: Journeys to Freedom in August Wilson's Ten Plays of Twentieth-Century Black America (Cascade, Eugene) 2017.
